Someone is Going to Get Paid...

Someone must know something I don't know.  The day that I decide to stop print on my book, one business plans to make more than a profit--I'm not mad at them--lol.  This is by far the craziest amount of money yet that I have seen my book going for to date.  I have a limited amount of autographed copies floating around and those who got my signature wanted me to address them.  So there are no printed books that have just my signature (FYI to book collectors).

What's interesting about When Mothers Cry, I wrote the book when I had a newborn, a toddler, a tween and soon to be teen.  Now things have changed in my life which makes that book a classic.  Blessings to those people who own a copy!  Currently (as of Nov. 2016), $450 plus used and $725 new.

Nicholl's Blog: When Mothers Cry

Years ago when Nicholl published the nonfiction book, When Mothers Cry, the stories, wisdom, personal experiences and more didn't end with that book.  The continuation of motherhood challenges spilled over into the blog, When Mothers Cry.

All sorts of women have their share of videos, audios, and writings of their parenting struggles and how many are surviving.  There are many tears (both happy and sad) that mothers shed for marriages that ended in divorce, children moving away, relatives dying, and other stories that truly touch visitors.

It doesn't matter your background, culture, gender, faith, etc. if there is one thing that we all have is a mother.  Stop by the site sometime it is updated weekly.

On Sunday, August 4, Nicholl spoke with Chris Moore of the Chris Moore Show on KDKA 1020 AM about her book, When Mothers Cry.  The author, poet and mother of four shared some of her personal challenges and observations of other parents who can't seem to cope with being a parent.  While Nicholl spoke, her parents, Erlene and Nick looked on and listened intently to their daughter's experiences.  You can read more and listen to broadcast here.
